Nyx Newsbar
Headlines in view without opening a window for them. Nyx docks as a bar at the top of the screen and covers nothing.
What it does
Nyx Newsbar registers with Windows as an appbar. That means the work area shrinks, the bar does not sit on top of your windows, and maximised programs stop below it. No window to click away.
You enter the feeds in the settings window. Clicking a headline opens the story in a detail window of its own rather than throwing you into a browser.
Nyx makes no connection beyond the feeds you entered yourself. No telemetry, no account; the only request the program makes on its own is the licence check.
