Affiliate programme

Recommend one of our programs, and if that leads to a sale you get a share of it. No network in between, no minimum term, nothing paid for clicks — only for what was actually bought.

How it works

You get a personal code and append it to any link into this site as ?ref=YOURCODE:

If someone buys during that visit, the sale is attributed to you.

What we do not do: cookies

This is the main difference from a normal affiliate programme, and it works against you — which is why it is here rather than in the small print.

We store nothing on the visitor's device. No cookie, no local storage, no tracking pixel. Attribution lives in the link and therefore only lasts as long as the visit. Somebody who arrives through your link today, leaves, and comes back directly tomorrow does not count for you.

A 30-day cookie would capture those sales. It would also be the first cookie this website has ever set, and under section 25 TDDDG it would need a consent banner in front of every page. We are not making that trade. If you point your link straight at the product page, you lose very little in practice.

Within a single visit the code is carried across internal links automatically, so a link to the home page still works when the visitor picks a product afterwards.

Commission and payout

  • The rate is agreed when you join and applies from that day. Whatever rate applied at the moment of a sale stays fixed for that sale, even if the rate changes later.
  • Every commission is held for a period after the sale. That covers refunds and chargebacks.
  • If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the commission on it lapses.
  • Payment goes out by PayPal to the address you give us, once the open balance reaches the minimum.
  • All amounts are gross. The tax treatment of your income is your own affair; we withhold nothing on your behalf.

The rate, holding period and minimum that currently apply are given to you when you join, and are repeated in your confirmation.

What is not allowed

  • No bidding on our brand or product names in search advertising.
  • No voucher, cashback or "discount code" sites that intercept a sale rather than create one.
  • No unsolicited advertising. Anyone promoting through spam is removed and paid nothing.
  • No false claims about the programs. The product pages are deliberately understated; please do not oversell them.
  • No buying through your own link.
  • Advertising must be recognisable as advertising. That is not a house rule, it is section 5a(4) UWG.

Joining

Write to info@bitgrund.de with your name, the address of your PayPal account, and a sentence about where you plan to promote. You will get your code and the terms that apply.

Ending it

Either side can end participation at any time, without reason and without notice. Commission already earned and not lapsed under the rules above is still paid out afterwards.
